I am looking to recruit experienced and driven Business Development Manager’s in the Warrington area, offering a basic salary of £35000-£40000 and Double OTE. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market leading provider of cloud and managed IT services for law firms – as they enter an exciting period of growth.
This position will suit candidates with knowledge of the Cloud & Managed Service sectors, and they must possess the ability to communicate complex concepts on both technical and strategic business level.
About The Role:
Identify, develop and manage opportunities – forecasting with good insight, accuracy, and judgement.
Liaise with clients at a senior level to build relationships, understand requirements, qualify leads and, above all, successfully sell the company’s services
Prepare sales documentation for potential clients to include quotes, proposals, tender responses and RFIs.
Network to build referral network within the sector and develop viable opportunities from your own networks/channels.
Forecast opportunities and managing the progress of these opportunities through the CRM system with accurate and relevant data input.
Participate actively in the planning and sales process for new business opportunities,
Work in partnership with the Marketing Manager in the creation of marketing campaigns and participating in events to drive interest, communicate value add, and educate the target market.
Participate in sales conference calls and prospect visits, providing service demonstrations in person and working with prospects at the business level to show how the business’ solutions can provide value to them.
Essential Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 2 years’ sales experience role within the IT industry from a Cloud, IaaS, Managed Services, Software as a Service or complimenting technologies market.
Good knowledge of one or two target markets and their associated dynamics. (Legal sector experience not essential; however exposure to professional services is an advantage.)
Ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of solution selling
Ability to prepare accurate sales documentation for potential/existing customers, e.g., quotes, proposals, tender responses and RFIs
Excellent all-round communication skills
Capable of successfully networking at all levels of the decision-making cycle.
A track record of over performance and outstanding target achievement in a New Business Development role
Experience of working with complex accounts to deliver solutions in line with client requirements, contributing to budget delivery and growing the business in line with projected growth
Excellent verbal, and written communication skills; able to communicate ideas to a broad audience
Ability to build relationships, identify key decision-makers and further strengthen relationships to drive business growth
