I am currently recruiting for a market leading energy provider in Manchester City Centre, they are looking for an Internal Sales Developer to join their team. Salary £25-30,000pa depending on experience with a generous bonus scheme, working Monday – Friday 8.30-5.30pm.

About The Role:

Identify, develop and close New Business opportunities, in line with set targets

Define a territory plan to effectively structure  activity; adhere to milestones, deliverables, and critically review progress at all stages

Manage your pipeline in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of information and correct summarizing of opportunities

Support the external sales team with lead generation and sales support

Work with the Marketing function to design and implement strategic sales campaigns

Work collaboratively with the Head of New Business Development and wider leadership team to ensure initiatives are cohesive with the overall customer experience

Support & inform the team leaders who are responsible for the day-to-day management of the team

Foster a culture of building long term and genuine relationships with our customers, identifying key individuals and maintaining a close network

Aim to delight customers and champion initiatives to further enhance the service or product offering

Visit customers where necessary

Submit a monthly pipeline report to the Head of New Business Development

Maintain a strong relationship with all stakeholders

Support initiatives with detailed Excel reporting; good working knowledge of system,

Carry out high level data analysis regarding customer and prospect data, as well as general problem solving

Provide backup for colleagues and team members when required (absences, annual holiday etc.)

Working as part of a wider team to continuously improve processes across the whole organisation

Essential Skills & Experience

Sales experience and commercial awareness

Ability to use data analysis to inform prospecting, territory planning and decision-making

Successful sales cycle management experience

Customer service experience

Excellent telephone manner

Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook, PowerBI

Full UK driving license and a willingness to visit regional offices, customers and other relevant travel where necessary

Demonstrate a ‘can do attitude’ and go that ‘extra mile’

Team player who will fit into the ethos

Assertive and able to hold sensitive and sometimes difficult conversations

A thought-leader; able to inspire and influence others at all levels

Self-motivated and organised

Excellent communication skills

Must be good at building and maintaining strong professional relationships

Ability to have a broad understanding of topics and portray information to accordingly

About The Benefits

Working hours 8.30am – 5.30pm, with flexible working hours available after the 6-month probationary period

Salary £25-30K (£10K OTE)
