I am currently recruiting for an IT Monitoring Manager to join an innovative, leading Managed Service Provider out of their modern offices in the Warrington area. Paying a competitive salary up to £33000, this is a fantastic opportunity to join this fast growing company, as they invest heavily across the business to achieve their goal of becoming the No.1 cloud provider to the UK & Ireland Legal Sector.


The candidate in mind will be responsible for managing their monitoring platforms and will also help with the onboarding on new client devices on to the platforms.


About The Role:

Responsible for managing Logic Monitor & N Able (now Solarwinds) monitoring platforms

Monitoring the Cloud Datacentres and client equipment

Manage the on boarding of new client devices in to the platform

Deploying Monitoring collectors and monitoring agents as applicable

Alert tuning of thresholds and managing the volume of monitoring events

Liaising with Service Desk to ensure tickets are raised/automated and closures are also resolved/automated

Liaising with Client Success teams to ensure monitoring reports provide intelligence as to performance of service/IT equipment

Working with Problem Manager to ensure any underlying issues are resolved


Essential Skills & Experience:

Service Desk experience and some form of technical qualification

Has previously been responsible for managing a monitoring platform

Must be comfortable in speaking with clients in person and over the phone

Expected to manage own workloads and achieve project deadlines

Must be passionate about driving this area of the business and contributing to the streamline of service desk processes

Must be a person that works well in a team and sees the overall contribution to the service desk that can be made by effective monitoring

Strong analytical skills

Must be a driver with own transport


Desirable Skills & Experience:

Advantageous to have MSP experience

Experience of Logic Monitor and N Able (now Solarwinds) is highly advantageous although experience in either would be viable as training can be provided


About The Benefits:

Salary DOE – £28000 – £33000
