I currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sales Executive to join a leading Events company based in the heart of Manchester City Centre. This is an exciting role, paying a salary up to £30000 DOE, with an expected OTE in first year of £40000+. The candidate will be selling highly lucrative sponsorships across a portfolio of prestigious events across the country.
This role suits a candidate with a minimum of 3+ years B2B selling, who has previous experience of researching and sourcing own leads, and negotiating and closing at Director Level.
About The Role:
Be fully conversant with a range of products and be prepared to make a large number of pitches to secure business mostly over the phone
Possess strong knowledge of sales processes and structure, be able to research and source your own leads
Identifying potential new markets and business opportunities
Researching and gaining an understanding of the event you are selling
High attention to detail – working in a pressurised, professional environment to strict deadlines
Reaching and exceeding weekly average targets as set out by the Sales Director
Act as a subject matter expert in identifying, pitching, closing, new and existing business/clients
Represent the company at events as agreed with the Sales Director
Essential Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years experience in B2B sales
Demonstrable experience in full sales process from sourcing prospect, pitching and then closing,
Solid experience in selling high value products and negotiating and closing at Director level
Experience in researching and sourcing own leads
Resilient with excellent persuasion skills
Focused to achieve and exceed weekly targets
